A T-800 Infiltrator is covered with living tissue that includes human-like flesh, skin, hair, blood, and other bodily fluids. The T-800 has a circulatory system which is controlled by a tiny pneumatic pump which maintains a constant pressure.

The T-800 Infiltrator was the first truly successful Infiltrator unit, consisting of living tissue over a metal endoskeleton. Such Infiltrator features every human feature, including hair, blood, tear, sweat and bad breath.

Unsurprisingly, James Cameron originally wanted someone nondescript that wouldn’t stand out. At one point, actor Lance Henriksen was considered for the role.

The Prototype T-800, also known as T-RIP (Resistance Infiltrator Prototype), is a minor antagonist in the 2009 sci-fi action film Terminator Salvation, the first installment of the Salvation Timeline of the Terminator franchise. It is the prototype of the T-800 Series.

It was the first of the Infiltrators sent back on assassination missions by Skynet, and is arguably the single most significant Terminator unit as it inadvertently "fathered" Skynet in its journey through time, similar to how Kyle Reese fathered John Connor in his. The Terminator is an Infiltration unit, part man, part machine.
