I'm assuming it doesn't recognize it because TPM management says it can't find TPM 1.2 or later, and that I have no "security devices" in device manager. Aug 22, 2016 · In the UEFI/Bios environment during reboot I press the F12 key but don't come back to the Initialize the TPM wizard. Instead the TPM Management on Local Computer windows opens automatically and tells me the TPM is ready for use. I'm using Windows 10 pro upgrade from Windows 7 and a MSI C236A motherboard with their latest BIOS version.

Preparing for Win11. Had to enable fTPM in my BIOS, thats done. In the TPM management window, I have confirmed the version to be 2.0 . The Status is TPM is ready for use.
