Mar 31, 2022 · Call tricare east or west and ask for a PCM change because you are doing training for a few months and tell them the zip code you are moving to and they will assign you a new PCM that is the closest it will be. I just did this and started my SB Friday. Get your record sent to whatever base your PCM is located. It takes 10 days for a PCM change.

Tricare Reserve Select for NG/Reservist is very good insurance. It is a PPO plan meaning it isn't managed like a HMO which in my opinion is a good thing as you don't need a primary doctor referral to go see a specialist.

Nov 29, 2021 · Tricare covers one pair of lenses for glasses for me a year, because I've been diagnosed with severe dry eye and cannot wear contacts. Which is weird. I usually end up buying glasses from Walmart because it's still cheaper than going to places that accept tricare. The frames are usually a fortune and don't offset the free lenses.

Mar 24, 2022 · Tricare was paying mine, which was prescribe by a family doc. But AF (guard) doc told me I could use cream, the injections made me medically disqualified for service. Showed me some medical qualification documents and said I would be medically separated.

The idea that trocar pays 75% and supplement pays 25% was in reference to tricare select where the beneficiary has more out of pocket cost. In that case the supplementary insurance would cost a little more. It should be noted that Tricare prime and select remain primary insurance.
