The 3556 (also referred to 3556S) is a Tama acoustics series grand concert model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was made by Tama Seisakusho Co. in Aichi, Japan. The 3556 features a grand concert body shape with selected solid spruce top on jacaranda back and sides.

Sep 20, 2015 · All were great playing and sounding guitars. These guitars are well kept secrets. Looks like all the Tama models sported solid tops, but laminate B/S (it's hard to read the teeny print!!). Once you get into the Tama/Ibanez, the B/S are solid as well. Very nice looking guitars.

Feb 11, 2017 · The TAMA guitars were produced by Seisakusho Co. in Aichi, Japan from 1974 till 1979 with excellent quality (and they where more or less Martin copy 's). In the beginning the company produced guitars, amplifiers and drums for Ibanez. In 1974 the first TAMA guitar could be found in a Ibanez brochure.
