Nov 22, 2014 · I have a pair of Tannoy Arden (15 inch HPD-drivers), a friend of my has the Cheviot modell (12 inch hpd-driver). The difference in IMHO is mostly in scale and ease. The bigger driver produces a bigger sound and does it more effortless.

The concentric Tannoy Red drivers are likely the most desirable and collectible vintage speaker, especially in the 15" size. If you have not heard them you should try and find a local set to audition.
