Termite inspections are typically separate from a home inspection. Home inspectors are not qualified to find termite issues. They may find previous signs of damage and then it’s on you to hire a termite inspector to specifically look for termites. You keep saying you got the home inspected but fail to realize it was not inspected for termites.

Apr 3, 2022 · Insurance won't cover termite damage either. I've heard horror stories of damage up to 50k but those are very extreme cases. But I'd be incredibly concerned with just the drywall looking like this and not knowing the extent of what's underneath. I'm not sure why you would ever waive termite inspection — especially at the seller's request.

Aug 4, 2022 · I just had Merrill Pest service’s out today. They were running a special for $300 off termite treatment this month. They trenched and drilled around my house and sprayed the poison in. Total with 2 year warranty was $699 and they have pretty great reviews
