Aug 23, 2021 · We see a guardsman so terrified he’s about to end it himself before the Necron do. I tried thinking of instances where Xenos are that scared of humanity…but the closest I can think is the eldar who usually seem to display arrogant ambivalence to seething hatred.

I spent a solid 10 years being terrified of the xenos. Being cornered by a xeno is a top 3 fear of mine. I found that forcing myself into the universe actually made the fear more like a rollercoaster.

Xenos were terrified when their means of intimidating their enemies into surrender didn't work on humans. Weapons of terror just made the humans more determined to kill every aggressor they encountered.
