The thought of buying a model S plaid at a sub $70,000 range and adding the track package. Sounds like a fantastic deal.

To answer your question, if not in Plaid mode the acceleration is about the same. In Plaid mode it is a world of difference. I only take mine out of Plaid mode when someone else might drive it (service, detail, etc). Plaid mode is always great to refresh the Tesla grin on a daily basis as well.

Intuit used to proved the access but they turned it off and even Intuit was doing screen scraping. Plaid is only one of a small handful of companies doing this so it is not like they have much of a choice. Some of the alternatives to Plaid cost a hell of a lot more and those same alternatives are using Plaid as one of the companies to get the data.

Jan 19, 2022 · (Don’t put yourself in harm’s way financially). More surprising than 0-60 is the 50-90. The acceleration feels linear and even if traveling at 50mph, pushing the accelerator down will throw your head back. I prefer if people don’t know it’s a Plaid and will be de-badging…I got the plaid for me and nobody else.

May 13, 2023 · So today was the big day. I booked a 1 day rental for a Tesla Plaid on Turo about a month ago. I had to drive to Jersey to pick it up (3 states away). Lot of traffic and bullshit to contend with but totally worth it in the end. My take away is that it it's an incredible car, especially given the price point.
