Oct 3, 2020 · It has been great and reliable. I've always had the "auto" option for my keyboard backlight. There were 4 options in Lenovo Vantage and if I pressed FN+Spacebar it would cycle through all 4 settings. Well I opened Vantage yesterday and it said it was updating....after the update I noticed that my keyboard backlight was off.

I find two DLL file in your post and they show in 2 folder in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Temp\..... and I find Contract_Keyboard alone in some folder in C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\ImController\Plugins\....

Nov 6, 2022 · Baclit keyboard is an option on X13 (even if available on most versions). I would personally choose the WQXGA version mostly because of 100% sRGB coverage and for the lack of IPS privacy (shall also be low-power, meaning longer battery life).

Everytime my laptop went to sleep or powered on, I have to turn on my keyboard backlight manually. Which settings do I have to turn on so that it is always turn on whenver it wakes up from sleep or power on?

Jun 30, 2016 · I use redshift and f.lux to lower the colour temperature of the screen which helps me concentrate into the night. Unfortunately the backlit keyboard looks very blue and can be a little bit distracting. Has anyone successfully changed the colour of the keyboard lights? Edit: I have a spare keyboard for my T440 so I'm willing to fuck some shit up.

X230 is the fist Thinkpad to come up with the new-fangled 6-row chicklet keys, with or without backlight. Swappng them is easy. There is even an option/mod to put the X220 KB in the X230.
