Doll collecting is one of the largest hobby groups in the world enjoyed by enthusiasts everywhere! The United Federation of Doll Clubs (UFDC) is a non-profit organization with the goal of being the foremost in research, education, conservation, collecting, and appreciation of dolls.

The UFDC Annual Convention is the largest and most highly acclaimed doll collecting conference in the world. First held in 1950, the annual convention is the original forum for doll dialogs, education, conservation, research, collecting, and the appreciation of dolls.

The UF Digital Collections (UFDC), Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC), and Florida Digital Newspaper Library are undergoing major renovations 2022-2024. The new sites are all live. The former site is still available at this time (planned retirement 2024 or prior): original-ufdc.uflib.ufl.edu

ReAL Services stands for Research and Archival Library Services and is the “real” heart of UFDC’s mission to preserve dolls, promote the hobby of doll collecting and to provide educational materials pertaining to dolls.

Through UFDC, users have free and Open Access to full unique and rare materials held by the University of Florida and partner institutions. The UF Libraries encourage and support faculty collaboration on digital collections and digital scholarship.
