This facility serves as a cultural home for a wide range of performances, from light opera, folk, and pop music to ballet, jazz, and full symphonic productions and seats for 1,832. The box office for the Performing Arts Center is located on the south side of the Cottage Grove Parking Garage.

The Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center (BMC) is the newest addition to the School of Music. The building was completed in the spring of 2001 and contains more than 35,000 gross square feet of space.

Built in 2001 as part of the Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center, this 300-seat concert hall is used for faculty and student recitals as well as special events in the Las Vegas community.

The School of Music offers an excellent professional and liberal arts education to students pursuing a career in music performance, history and literature, music education, conducting, music theory, Orff Schulwerk, composition, or jazz studies.
