With a rich history of advocacy, events and representation, the University Women’s Club of Vancouver now boasts more than 450+ members from more than 100 universities.

The University Women’s Club of Vancouver, the second University Women’s Club in Canada, was founded on May 11, 1907 by a group of eight young women graduates of universities in Eastern Canada and the U.S.A.

The University Women’s Club of Vancouver provides a warm and welcoming space for women to connect in-person, engage in stimulating activities and continue our legacy of promoting women’s rights and education.

Hycroft is a designated heritage mansion in Old Shaughnessy that has been home to The University Women’s Club of Vancouver since 1962. It is an incredible rental venue for receptions, meetings, conferences, and special events such as weddings and other gala celebrations.

The Board of Trustees administers the UWCV Trust Fund for Education, which funds scholarships, bursaries and endowments through nine accredited post-secondary public education institutions in Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
