Jan 20, 2021 · To my knowledge the only URG-I that’s been solidly confirmed in open source reference pics is the 14.5” barrel version, which uses a 13.5” Geissele Mk16 Super Modular Rail (SMR) in Desert Dirt Colour (DDC) amongst other very specific components. The URG-I is a USASOC contract upper with 14.5” barrel and 13.5” Geissele Mk16 SMR in DDC.

When people say urgi, they mean they are building a rifle inspired or cloning the military sopmod. It’s basically the m4a1 sopmod block 3.
