Jul 1, 2004 · i don't remember that thread, but then again, i don't really have an mk2. however, the kits that i've looked at for single wiper conversions for mk3's and the 20th anniversary all have upgraded motors for the wiper. i don't think the stock motor will supply enough juice to support a larger blade and hanger, as well as increased range of motion.

Sep 8, 2005 · the way i see it is the mk1 cabby was a rabbit convertible. it's a mk1 because a rabbit is a mk1. and the late model cabbys are mk3 because in essence it is a mk3 golf convertible. so it is a mk3. it can be overcomplicated but to the majority of the vw world that's how it is. i don't see the clipper kit as a mk2. because the car was still really the same. the scirroco although keeping the same ...
