Dec 15, 2013 · From 1952 through 1967, Carter produced 214 DIFFERENT type WCFB carburetors for use on engines of displacements from 241 CID through 440 CID; thus there are several different air flow versions available. Carter did NOT publish CFM ratings (at least to my knowledge) on any WCFB carburetors.

WCFBs had approximate ratings from about 375 CFM to about 500 CFM. The Carter WCFB was identified by a tag, which originally was placed under the drivers’ side rear airhorn-to-body screw. Various sources have attempted to positively identify WCFBs by casting numbers.
