WACO, TX (February 17, 2025)--Waco ISD is one of only 71 districts in Texas selected to pilot a new cybersecurity program through a grant award from the Federal Communications Commission.

Information on filing for a Waco ISD school board position is available on the district’s website at https://www.wacoisd.org/board/election-information/may-3-2025. The deadline to file is 5 p.m. on February 14, 2025.

Waco ISD offers a Prekindergarten program for children who are four years old on or before September 1, live in the district, and meet at least one of the following criteria: is limited in the ability to speak and/or comprehend the English language; or
