T8/Recharge certainly cannot do it itself due to the small battery capacity, but what if I charge it on the campsite and turn on preconditioning overnight? Would it work or any foreseeable issues?

Aug 17, 2020 · We’ve not done it in our 2107 T8 but we have in our 2001 V40 and in our 2010 XC90. Based on those experiences I would imagine the new XC90 would be pretty comfy! Besides sleeping bag I’d recommend having a camping pad or something to help support you over the seams between the folded down seat backs between the 2nd and 3rd rows.

Jun 3, 2019 · I'm looking for a small Travel Trailer- 20-21FT. I see the Towing for XC40 as 3,500 lbs and hitch weight of 350 lbs. Any recommendations on brands/models that are light enough to easily tow? I've looked at YouTube and googled types of campers the XC 40 is able to tow, but thought maybe someone has a small camper they may want to suggest. Thanks

Jan 3, 2023 · I've been camping in my XC40 Recharge alone and with my wife a few times now. I use a device meant to keep dogs falling into the foot wells of the back seats, but it's just plywood with fabric over it. Any piece of plywood will do. I've been using a hikers sleeping pad.
