May 25, 2007 · The CDC 845 is great on it's own, especially in a sysyem on the bright side of neutral. The CDC-775 has more detail, leading edge dynamics and low end slam. It's not as well built as the 845, weighs less, and has no manual rotate function to help load the carousel.
