Apr 29, 2023 · I never use the DSP settings, just use "Straight" mode on a Yamaha. The only useful one is Mono Movie which will play a true mono soundtrack through the center channel even if it's encoded as Mono 2.0. Of course Dolby Pro Logic is very useful and I always use it for stereo things that have surround matrix encoding.
