YES, have announced they will they tour with Deep Purple this summer, launching August 14 in Hollywood, FL and wrapping September 8 in Scranton, PA. YES will perform a career-spanning set with 50-plus years of classics as well as material from their acclaimed album MIRROR TO THE SKY (InsideOutMusic/Sony Music, 2023).

YES ‘ debut album, released on July 25th 1969, is considered to be one of the first progressive rock albums. Vocalist Jon Anderson and bassist Chris Squire formed YES in 1968, with their former bandmates guitarist Peter Banks (who came up with the name), keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford recruited from an ad in Melody Maker.

Billy Sherwood joined YES as a guitarist and keyboardist from 1997 to 2000, including for their albums Open Your Eyes (1997) and The Ladder (1999). He was asked by Chris Squire, before his passing, to replace him and keep YES going.
