We as a community hope that this thread will serve as a reference point and source of answers for those looking for a reliable ZF6 pilot bearing. Feb 27, 2019 · Usually the clutch service consists of replacing the clutch disk, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. With a hydraulically actuated clutch it is advisable to also replace the slave cylinder. The clutch disk has friction material similar to a brake pad which grabs the flywheel on one side & pressure plate on the other.

Mar 4, 2016 · The clutch slave cylinder turns 90* to remove from bell housing. Remove it and measure to the face of the clutch fork. I agree with f350-6, I'm betting the fork is bent/cracked. The plastic pivot point is on the opposite side of the bell housing. If the hole is empty then the pivot point has fallen out(I doubt this is the case).
