Sep 13, 2024 · Just got a new ZX-4RR. I'm a beginner, 5' 9", although I know how to ride scooters but "not" a manual bike. I've been driving manual sports cars all my life. So the idea of shifting gears, I already know by heart. This 4RR is an Asia spec model, so it has all the bells and whistles including having the full HP/TQ this engine is supposed to put out.

May 22, 2023 · First up today is the Graves throttle tube. The stock Kawasaki one allows you to roll off about 1/8" into "negative travel", which just feels weird and terrible. The bar ends came off super easy and the switchgear unscrews with 4 bolts to get the throttle tube off.

Apr 25, 2023 · The MSRP gets thrown around a lot but this is the RR version of the ZX-4r we're talking about here with the fully adjustable rear-suspension and up/down quickshifter.

Sep 3, 2023 · I struggled with the 4RR because I left it standard shift, even though I have the Graves/FTECU set up (not installed). The LONG left hander before the front stretch required me to short shift, grind my boot, or stand the bike up a bit to grab the next gear.
