Apr 10, 2007 · I have a ZX9R 1995, done blank off kit for emissions, 4 degree advancer, My needles on the carbs moved up and down quite a lot within the slides. so a few washers on top of the needle sorted that, Nice and tight like a german virgin now.....lol Done shims, carb balance, new plugs , oil/filter and new coolant and ZX1 friction reducer.

Jan 7, 2007 · 98 and 99 are the same motor, the problem with the clutch could be because of the tranny and or the other way around, and you would be much better off just paying to have the tranny fixed by a certifed tech. I am one and also have a 98 zx9r that i am overhauling the engine on right now. If you have any questions please let me know.

Jul 28, 2012 · I've just bought my first Kawasaki and am now the proud owner of a ZX9R (C2) and am need of some new rubber. I've had a look over the forums and haven't seen anyone previously ask about tyres. (Apologies if I've over looked a thread.) I believe the rear tyre is 180/55 x 17 and the front is 120/70 x 17. Can anyone recommend some good quality rubber?
