Aug 31, 2020 · Iirc the ZPAP is the same as the older NPAP imported by Century. It uses the same thinner 1mm receiver and regular AKM profile trunnion as the M92. The receiver and front trunnion are more similar to what you would find on standard Euro AKMs. The ZPAP-M70 is the same as the older OPAP.

Mar 2, 2021 · Yeah, anything imported and with a decent reputation (which Zastava has) will not last long these days. Zastava had a rough go a-few-to-several years ago because the importer (Century) was butchering the conversions. Zastava has undertaken those actions now themselves to control quality, according to TFBTV.

Oct 3, 2021 · In fairness to Zastava they responded to my service inquiry immediately and replaced the rear sight leaf, the take down pin and the new “guidance” on using gas setting “one” seems to have resolved the feeding/extraction issues.

May 4, 2021 · Had some range time w ZPAP M92 w SOB 47 brace . The 200 yard sights are worthless.. not zeroed from factory. Shoots way low even at 30 yards. The 200 yard sights are not adjustable. So I went to the 400 yard sights and was able to get it zeroed with some patience. Able to hit 10” gong at 100 yards.

May 2, 2019 · Then with the AKP they come good to go requiring no mods. The only difference I can tell is that the M92 will take mags that AKP doesn't like. something about the pin that runs across the receiver coming in contact with the Croation mags. I had to file it down on the back of the mag for them to work in the AKP but the M92 just worked normally.

Oct 22, 2019 · I don't know if they still do it but I had Class 3 machining thread my Zastava M92 to 1/2x28 then I used a quality thread adapter to 5/8x24. Worked perfectly. Work was done like 4 or 5 years ago now I think. Also putting a can on that thing was not really worth it to me. Still wasn't pleasant to shoot with an Omega on it.

Jul 22, 2021 · The M92 I got last year from Atlantic has the hole already drilled in the rear trunnion. It’s bigger and lower than what I see on most of the brace/stock adaptors. Not sure which ones fit or are most solid. Going to SBR. Almost tempted to find someone who can replace it with the ability to take a normal wood stock.
