I wonder if Asus gonna make Rog Ally X with Intel version just like Flow Z13 which comes after X13.

We even have Rog Flow Z13 tablet with up to RTX 4070 (while 4050/4060 being the sweet-spot due to TDP limitations). And also iGPU hype materials tend to hint how it replaces entry level dGPU while in reality getting annihilated by it for some use cases like gaming.

May 15, 2023 · It's more of a binning than a true semi-custom, and if anything the Z1 and the 7840U make me wish we could get the Z13 tablet in a similar flavor. Thinner, lighter, passing adequate iGPU. Reply reply

Jun 24, 2023 · In my opinion it's a better choise to just buy a gaming laptop and use it with a controller if you want a device with windows. ASUS ROG Ally feels like a 7" laptop screen without the keyboard and mouse trackpad but with controllers on each side of the screen.

Sep 30, 2021 · The real crime was blaming the hardware for a software problem. Multiple GPUs should be as common as multiple CPUs but limited APIs and terrible driver side hacks made this impractical and prevented adoption.

Nov 16, 2022 · While it's Asus that ultimately chose to use the g-sync module here, I don't think it's completely fair to pin this lacking HDMI 2.1 all on them. Nvidia had at least 3 years to do something and have even made a few hardware revisions over that period.
