William Scott Mitchell (born January 2, 1968) [1] is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Utah Utes and was selected in the fourth round of the 1990 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins .
