Major Jason Ketterling, assistant superintendent, in command of the South Dakota Highway Patrol. Whisler joined the highway patrol in 1999 and has been stationed in Howard, Parker, Vermillion, and Sioux Falls. Since 2021, he has been the District Two Commander which covers southeastern South Dakota.
