Jul 10, 2023 · While we understand that it's generally recommended to book directly on the companies websites, we noticed that TripAdvisor offers a cheaper price for the same activities. However, we're uncertain if there might be any additional fees charged later, despite the final price they provide. We're simply curious if it's safe to book on TripAdvisor.

In the role of a guest for many years, I appreciated the service TripAdvisor provided, allowing guests to share recommendations and warnings about hotels, etc. I contributed a lot to the site for free and built up a reputation there. However, in the last couple of years I have been aghast to see how they have been censoring reviews more and more.

I LOVE GetYourGuide. I always used to use Viator but since Tripadvisor acquired them there are way too many options. I have booked maybe 15-17 tours with GetYourGuide and they've always been great and smooth each time. Edit: and when the pandemic hit I had 4 upcoming tours that they refunded me for immediately no questions asked.

Apr 10, 2022 · I wish I had seen this comment earlier. I booked my ticket with Viva about 8 hours ago 😭 I think there’s still time to cancel it (there’s a 24 hour cancellation period). I’ve posted my question in another sub and on TripAdvisor… stil haven’t received a single account of an actual positive experience flying Viva.
