This 1:20 scale balsa airplane model of the 1903 Wright Flyer has been designed for easy assembly using Guillow’s famous step by step building methods. Kit includes grade A precision laser cut balsa parts, high quality tissue covering, laser cut profile of pilot, simulated engine, moveable propellers and a display stand with plaque.

From the Fokker triplane to the Sopwith Camel of WWI to the P-51 Mustang and P-38 Lightning of WWII to the modern day F-15 Eagle fighter jet you will find that our balsa airplane models appeal to both the young and the “young at heart”.

This is our best selling foam glider. With a large 24" wing span this plane can be thrown by a strong baseball arm for large looping flights or gently tossed for a long floating glide.

The glues offered here have been tested by Guillow’s engineers and found to be the best available for use in assembling Guillow’s balsa model airplane kits. The Testors glue is a resin based product that holds fast and reaches its maximum cured bonding strength after 6 hours.
