Jan 24, 2005 · Archery Headquarters in Rochester will have New Double Bull Blinds on sale for $399 regular price $449, not sure which one this is just going off a flyer I picked up at the BWA EXPO yesterday, that price seems a little high to me.

Jan 1, 2011 · Completely agreed for the cheaper blinds….why not? However, for the nicer blinds, say a double bull, you’re better off going to purchase a dedicated hub-style ice shelter. They’re cheaper, and you’re not going to stink up, burn with the heater, or otherwise destroy your good turkey/deer blind. Joel

Oct 29, 2008 · MossBoss, yes gorund blinds can extremly be effective. We have spots in ND where there is just not many big trees and we have ground blinds brushed into the woods, crp, corn, thickets etc. I have had deer knock my arrow off my rest in ground blinds, they get so close.

Mar 19, 2009 · I prefer the pop-out hub style blinds like the Covert or Double-Bull, as esp. in the open like that, wind blowing loose fabric around can make turkeys nervous. Esp. in a bow-hunting situation. The beauty of an in-field setup, is that you can really utilize the structure of the field and the topography to your advantage.

Nov 15, 2017 · Most ground blinds aren’t really constructed for it. I’m guessing you’ll get a failure in pretty short order, unless you’ve sunk a bunch of money into a ground blind. I’d just consider picking up a used hub on Craigslist for almost nothing.

Dec 8, 2010 · The plastic ball ends seem pretty cheap and to be a bad link in the setup…. I know that double bull blinds had the same problem and I noticed that they now mold the ball onto the fiberglass rod instead of a plastic cap with a ball on the end. Any ideas or is there maybe aluminum ends you can pick up or just get away from the hub style houses???
