Do you think Jax will be an antagonist (or have a redemption arc)?
Jax is Jax. He's the asshole who may impede the others but never be truly an antagonist, he just does a mild amount of tomfoolery comrade! Of course he's a more well done asshole character. Ive been introduced to assholes since Bakugo from MHA. I dont get why people like him hes just a complete ass to everyone and never changes.
TADC - Jax Conceptualization : r/FilmTheorists - Reddit
May 20, 2024 · Jax is being portrayed in the theory videos as some kind of evil being, and I believe the term 'malicious' has been thrown around. That's not what I see, and I feel like if we approach the character with a little empathy we can see something else - someone who is feeling deeply insecure and is struggling to deal with feeling helpless.

Jax's mention of centipedes was a more guaranteed solution, I think, if not a bit of a cruel one. Dissociation definitely isn't a kind thing to allow someone to experience. It's an unhealthy coping mechanism, and Jax snapped Pomni out of it while Ragatha was doing something else.

Oct 16, 2023 · Jax says "Heh, she (Pomni) still thinks this is a dream", then stares DIRECTLY into the camera, which pulls out to reveal he's staring at Ragatha, who asks why he's staring at her. He COMPLETELY dodges the question, with the response: "I'm fine with doing whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people."
Potential theory that TADC characters represent mental ... - Reddit
I think that Jax is antisocial personality disorder (don't confuse with asocial, because antisocial means psychopathic). Like he has some symptoms: -behavior that conflicts with social norms. -disregarding or violating the rights of others. -difficulty with showing remorse or empathy. -tendency to lie often. -sketchy charm.
Who's your most hated TADC character and why? : …
Jax, without a doubt. This character is probably my biggest criticism of the pilot, which I hope they improve once it inevitably becomes an actual show. I feel like they wanted Jax to be a charming clever guy, but to me he just comes out as annoying and overall really toxic person.
Jax’s backstory : r/TheDigitalCircus - Reddit
Jan 4, 2024 · I was looking on Goosworx’s Tumblr and someone asked why Jax is afraid of corn. She said that it reminds him of the farm, and I feel like that could go two ways. The farm holds bad memories for him. Maybe he was born/taken away there and it traumatized him.
