As a parent of triplet kids, and the owner of both a Model Y 7 seater (MYLR7), and a Honda Odyssey, I will say that the minivan is far far superior to the Tesla. Ingress and egress is way way easier in the van. Strollers and all the stuff you need for kids fits into the van way easier. The van is blissfully quiet inside compared to the MY.

May 31, 2023 · As minivan goes, nothing beats them 2, and I went with Honda because of the better crash test, more power, room, design, and most importantly no markup bs. The model Y is too small for 7/6 people and the 3rd row is only good for small children on short trips.

Apr 9, 2023 · The X kind of has a minivan feeling on the inside I guess. I think trying to say a minivan is objectively better is going to be hard. They are just different and come with different pros and cons. For 100k+, you could probably get an insane minivan. I have never looked into it, but I think a regular luxury minivan is probably like 50-60k.
