Been riding the roads in/around Austin for 35 years. And yes, a LOT has changed here but it’s still great. I get asked all the time: “Where should I ride?” While the options aren’t the same as 3 decades ago there’s still options. Pro tip: Use Strava’s heat map to see where other cyclists are choosing to ride. They are absolutely picking roads and routes that have LESS traffic.
